How to start meditating?

It is best to meditate in comfortable environment: at home or in nature. It's important to turn off your phone. and make sure that you are not disturbed. It is advisable to practice always in one place. Your meditation practice will fill this space with appropriate vibrations and this will help you in future.

It is better to choose free cut clothes from natural fabric.

The position of the body can be any - lying on the floor ( although, there is a high probability of falling astep), sitting on a chair silting in the lotus position. You should be comfortable. The spine should be straight & relaxed.

The other things- music, aroma, oils etc. every one choose for themselves. Try different options to understand how you feel more comfortable doing meditation.

For beginner, 5-10 minutes of meditation will be enough. After you're established at this level (regularly practicing for 5-10 minutes), you can think about sitting longer.

It is better to increase the duration gradually. adding no more than 5 minutes from the comfortable duration each time after stablizing at a new level. So gradually it will be 15 minutes, then 20, 25, 30 and So on.
